What if I don't have symptoms?

Testing is still worth it. Several of these infections stay silent for months and can still spread or affect fertility. If the exposure was very recent, some tests may not pick it up yet; the medical team tells you when to repeat them so the result can be trusted.

Who finds out about my results?

Only you. You talk one-on-one with the medical team, in Spanish or English, and at the front desk all you need to say is that you're here for a visit. If something comes back positive, we explain how to tell your partner so they can get treated too and you don't get reinfected. Women can combine the visit with a gynecology checkup, and men with a men's health visit.

What happens next?

Results come back fast and we go over them calmly, with no lectures. If you need treatment, we prescribe it during the visit and tell you what to avoid while you're on it, sex included, so you don't pass the infection on.
