Clínica Hispana Cruz 2 is a general and family medicine clinic at 13331 Kuykendahl Rd Ste 128, Houston, TX 77090. It sees patients in Spanish and English, walk-in, every day from 9 AM to 9 PM, with self-pay prices for people who don't have insurance. Here's what to expect when you come in.

Who we are

Cruz 2 is the second location of the Clínica Hispana Cruz clinics in Houston, alongside Cruz, Cruz 3 and Cruz 4, each at its own address. This one sits on the north side of town, near Champions, Willowbrook, Klein, Spring, Cypress Station and Greenspoint, in the I-45 and north Beltway 8 area.

What a walk-in visit looks like

It's a short process, explained in the language you're most comfortable with:

  • Come in whenever it suits you between 9 AM and 9 PM, any day of the week. Prefer a set time? A quick phone call reserves one.
  • At the front desk, describe what's going on or what form you need, and you'll be told the price before anything starts.
  • The clinic's medical team sees and examines you and, if needed, orders lab work or tests done right there in the clinic.
  • Before you leave, you get written instructions and, when appropriate, your prescription is sent electronically to the pharmacy you choose.

There's no charge to park, and the door is accessible for wheelchair users. If you bring your kids or an older relative, they can be seen during the same trip.

What services are available?

The full list lives on the services page. Here it is grouped by type, so you can tell at a glance whether this location handles what you need:

  • Everyday care: general and family medicine, flu and COVID, allergies, urinary tract infections, strep, thyroid.
  • Long-term conditions: diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol follow-up under chronic conditions.
  • Lab and diagnostics: blood tests, urine and stool tests, TB testing, STDs, EKG and ultrasound.
  • Women and men: Pap smears, women's checkups, pregnancy tests and birth control; PSA checkups for men.
  • Exams and paperwork: school and sports physicals, DOT exams for CDL drivers, drug and alcohol testing, and the I-693 immigration exam.
  • Procedures: stitches, wound care, minor surgery, abscess drainage and ingrown toenails.
  • Prevention: flu and tetanus shots, plus vitamin IV drips.

About the I-693: the clinic has a Civil Surgeon authorized by USCIS, the type of provider required to sign the immigration medical exam. For DOT exams, the evaluation follows the driver health standards published by the FMCSA.

Paying without insurance

Insurance isn't required here. Services carry self-pay prices, and the clinic accepts cash, debit and credit. Want to know the cost before you come? Just call and ask.

There are also fixed-price packages, such as the $89 General Exam, which includes a general exam and urinalysis with the visit free. Current deals are on the promotions page, and promotional prices can change.

When to go somewhere else

Some situations belong in a hospital ER, not a walk-in clinic: crushing chest pain, struggling to breathe, stroke signs or a bad car crash. In those moments, dial 911. Cruz 2 is the place for problems that need prompt attention but aren't putting a life at risk, from a sore throat to a cut that needs stitches.
